What is the difference between an in-ground trampoline and a regular trampoline?
An in-ground trampoline is installed at ground level, with the jumping surface sitting flush with your lawn. This eliminates the need for ladders or steps, creates a much lower fall height compared to above-ground models, and gives your yard a clean, landscaped look. The Akrobat Primus Flat is specifically designed for in-ground installation.
Do I need to dig a hole to install this trampoline?
Yes, in-ground trampolines require an excavated pit in your yard to house the frame and springs below ground level. Akrobat provides an installation guide to help you through the process. The AkroClick assembly system is designed to make the above-ground assembly portion quick and tool-free once your pit is prepared.
Can this trampoline be used year-round?
Yes. The Primus Flat is built with UV-protected PVC padding and materials rated to withstand temperatures from -30°C to +70°C, making it suitable for all seasons and a wide range of climates.
Is an enclosure necessary for safety?
Because the Primus Flat sits at ground level, the fall risk is significantly reduced compared to above-ground trampolines. However, an enclosure adds an extra layer of protection, especially for younger children. The Full and Corner enclosure options are available if you'd like that added peace of mind.
Does this trampoline come with a cover?
A protective cover is available as an optional add-on. If you plan to leave the trampoline exposed during off-seasons or periods of heavy rain, adding a cover is a great way to protect the mat and pad from debris and extended weather exposure.
What size is this trampoline - is it right for my yard?
This model measures 14ft x 10ft, offering a generous rectangular jumping surface that works well for families without requiring a massive yard. The in-ground installation also means the trampoline doesn't visually dominate the space the way an above-ground model might.
